MARS Pet Care College
The Mars Petcare College eLearning portal supports the education and training of Australian pet industry and veterinary professionals. The content was developed by a qualified Veterinarian and Dog Trainer.
The program consists of the flagship 25hour industry-accredited Mars Petcare College program, and covers topics such as:
Feed and water animals
Life stage Nutrition for dogs and cats
Functional Nutrition
Dog and cat breeds
Responsible pet care
Animal Behaviour
Enrichment strategies
Animal workplaces
In addition, learners can self-register to a range of other short courses. Mars Petcare College is fully mobile compatible to provide a learner-paced, flexible and on-demand learning solution. Graduates of the Mars Petcare College four module program may be eligible to apply for further nationally recognised qualifications with TAFE NSW in Pet Nutrition and Enrichment. Successful completion provides a standalone industry skillset accreditation. This can also be used to further upskill your qualifications in animal care and veterinary nursing studies. It began 25 years ago, as a media arm of Barkleigh Productions, teaching professional groomers how to promote their business through the use of Barkleigh products.
