CAVOODLE

Lexi

Meet Lexi - He/Him! He’s a gorgeous Cavoodle.

Nicky has completed all of his basics, bathed and dried him and is clipping him on a #5F blade for a short sporty Summer clip as requested by the owner. This demonstration is all about angles. How to hold the dog and clippers to get the best results.

The Body Clip

Nicky starts the clip with a #4F, but realizes the dog needs to be shorter

Clipping the Tail and Head

The tail is a continuation of the spine, be mindful how you lift it. By clipping a small section at the base of the tail, any faeces is likely to fall away and not get stuck in the hair. Nicky demonstrates how to set the head, ears and jaw in when using a #5F blade on the body.

Scissoring The Head
