Removing hair from this section helps the dog’s grip and keeps them comfortable.
Take a #15, #30, toe blade or Heiniger Mini Trimmer and trim the ‘V’ section of the foot. Scoop the hair in one direction and then the other to remove all hair, chewing gum, sticks, and grass seeds etc. from the foot.
Please note it is important not to blade between the toes. Webbing between the toes can be damaged if the blade is used incorrectly.
Use scissors on the bottom of the foot for any fly-away hair.
