AUDREY
Audrey is a long haired Dachshund. This is her very first major groom. Long Haired Dachshunds need regular de-shedding and maintenance. Careful handling of these dogs is crucial, long backs and short legs can be difficult to manage.
PART 1 Bathing and drying. Jess uses a hydrobath for her first wash, followed by a hand wash and then conditioner.
PART 2 Audrey enjoys a good brush with a slicker and comb and trim around the feet.

The Dachshund is a fun loving dog, often fussy when being groomed. If handled from a young age, the Dachshund can be a joy to groom.
Great care should be taken when working with all dogs, especially long-spined dogs, like the Dachshund.
