Finnish Lapphund
ELLIE
Equipment Used: Let the bath and HV dryer do a lot of the work for you. You will also need straight scissors, comb and slicker.
Tips from Jess: When drying, keep the nozzle at the skin to begin with to dry the skin (first layer) first, then to avoid whip knots pull back to dry the coat. Line brushing is the best way to go through a double coated dogs coat, to seperate the layers. Ellie’s owner requested a natural tidy (only a light trim on featherings) and tidy feet.
