These rat tail combs, or demarcation combs are fantastic for model dogs, banding, dyeing, any time you need to part hair quickly and neatly.

The comb is 18.5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide at the teeth.

Our black comb is the finer of the pair, with 45 steel teeth. The gold comb holds 32 teeth across the same length of the shank, and is therefore slightly looser.

Best used on clean, dry coats with minimal knots, for fine finishing and parting.
